Design & Craftsmanship

Each Tate Wade watch is hand-assembled and regulated in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.

Produced in limited quantities, the watches distinguish themselves through balance rather than novelty.

Our watches were created for those who notice resolution before detail.

We do not use cultural symbols; we use cultural thinking to sharpen our proportions. Our dials are layered not to mimic a lens, but to respect the hierarchy of light.

A Tate Wade watch does not demand to be decoded - it simply asks to be observed.

THE DIAL

The dial is structured to establish clarity and depth through proportion.

The intricate layers of the dial are carefully crafted to enhance the visual appeal of each watch model, adding a touch of uniqueness to every timepiece.

THE MOVEMENT

Each watch houses a Swiss mechanical movement selected for reliability and precision.

Regulation is performed to ensure accuracy within established tolerances. The movement is visible not as spectacle, but as acknowledgment of the mechanism within.

THE CASE

Balanced proportions define the case architecture.

The crown - uniquely designed - is set at five o’clock. This unconventional placement enhances comfort while introducing a quiet distinction visible only upon closer inspection.

THE GLASS

A raised sapphire crystal with a subtle angled edge extends above the bezel, introducing defined geometry to the case profile. Anti-reflective treatment ensures clarity without visual distortion.
